Do you have alternative transportation?
We do offer a Courtesy Transportation Service that can take you to your home or office while your vehicle is in the shop. This is a free service provided to our customers by inMOTION Auto Care. Because of the size of our city and the amount of customers taking advantage of this service, precise pick-up and delivery times are not always available.
Can I pick my vehicle up after hours?
We strongly recommend that all vehicles be picked up during regular business hours. If that is not possible, you may prepay for your vehicle’s repairs with a credit card. If you should choose this option, your vehicle will be parked in customer parking; your advisor will cover specific information regarding your receipt and location of your keys.
Can I drop my vehicle off after hours?
We do offer an after-hours drop service, which is located by the main customer entrance. Envelopes must be filled out completely including concern, your e-mail address and a phone number where you may be reached during the day and most importantly your signature. Please note that without your signature, no work will be performed on your vehicle. The vehicle should be parked in customer parking and keys put in the envelope. Then simply drop the completed, signed envelope into the drop slot.
Will you call me with an estimate before you start working on (repairing) my vehicle?
If a repair can be made for the diagnostic charges agreed upon during vehicle write-up, your vehicle will be repaired. If a repair requires additional diagnostics over the discussed amount, you will be notified. Your advisor will notify you before any repairs are done that exceed your initial diagnostic estimate. After diagnosis is preformed and a repair has been determined, your advisor will call you with an estimate. During this time you will be informed of any options for the repair, warranties and prices. If you would like to be notified before any repairs are made, even if they can be completed for the agreed upon diagnostic charge, please let your advisor know of your request.
How long will the repair take?
Over 85% of the repairs performed in our shop are completed the same day. Repair times will vary depending on your vehicle’s problem or need. Due to the complexity of today’s vehicles, diagnostics can be quite time consuming. Until these diagnostic procedures are complete and a cause is determined, accurate repair times cannot be quoted. Parts availability also needs to be taken into consideration.
What are diagnostic fees?
Diagnostic fees are the initial charges to have an ASE Certified technician inspect and perform the multiple test procedures on your vehicle to determine the source of your concern. These charges are in addition to the actual cost of repair and will be listed separately on your invoice.
What can I expect during my vehicle write up time?
Our shop averages 40 vehicles per day and a good portion of our customers need to be at work between 7-10 am. So depending on your drop off time, you may encounter a short wait. We have several dedicated service advisors to assist customers with their vehicle write up. If you had a scheduled appointment, a pre-work order should be available to use. This is a print out of your appointment information; all you need to do is verify your contact information for the day, your personal information is up to date and the repair concerns are correct, provide your e-mail address, sign the repair order and go. You may also see several staff members who are not directly assisting customers. Their function is to handle all the administrative work that must be completed before the repair process can begin. We have several steps that must be completed to allow your vehicle to be tracked efficiently through its service visit.
What does having an appointment mean?
With the exception of an oil change appointment, your appointment time is actually a time reserved for you to have your vehicle written up. During this time your advisor will get all the pertinent information required to repair or maintain your vehicle. Depending on your concern, a test drive with a technician to duplicate your concern may also happen at this time. This may not be the actual time your vehicle will be repaired (unless you specify that you will be waiting). Your vehicle will be looked at some time throughout the day. How do I make an appointment?
Call the shop at 486-9880. Everyone is able to schedule oil change and rotate appointments or transfer you to an advisor if you should need something more involved. You may also schedule appointments online 24/7 by clicking HERE. A notice will be sent to your email address confirming your appointment.
Do I need an appointment for repair work?
An appointment is preferred. However, we do realize that not all automotive concerns can be conveniently scheduled for. Do I need an appointment for oil changes?
Our shop operates on a “modified” no appointment necessary system. An appointment is not required and vehicles will be serviced on a first come, first served basis. HOWEVER, over 70% of our customers prefer a scheduled day and time for their service. To accommodate everyone, appointments will receive “next open bay” service much like restaurant call ahead seating.
